Sidow Joins Pivot Medical Board

Executive has more than 20 years of experience in orthopedic market.

Pivot Medical, Inc. has a new board member. The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based innovator of advanced hip arthroscopy solutions has recruited Kevin Sidow to its Board of Directors.

Sidow, the president/CEO of Moximed Inc., has more than 20 years of experience in the orthopedic medical device market. Before assuming the reigns at Moximed, he was president/CEO of St. Francis Medical Technologies Inc. (SFMT), a privately held company that developed treatments for degenerative spinal disorders. SFMT was sold in January 2007 to Kyphon, Inc., for $725 million.

Before he joined SFMT, Sidow was the worldwide president of DePuy Inc., where he supervised the global orthopedic, spine, trauma, and sports medicine businesses.

Sidow joins Jack Giroux, Julian Nikolchev, John J. Savarese, Michael Lynn, John F. Maroney, and Guy L. Mayer on the Pivot Medical Board of Directors.
